I am getting ready to handlay track in a few weeks so I am looking
for code 83 tie plates. I have searched the archives on this list and
it appears that only Tomalco and "Simon Parent" make, or have made,
code 83 tie plates. I have e-mailed several retail stores listed on
the Tomalco web site that supposedly carry Tomalco parts, but so far
not a peep out of any of them.
Does anyone know if the "Simon Parent" tie plates are still available?
Does anyone know of a retailer that has Tomalco tie plates in stock?
Alternatively, has anyone attempted to "scratchbuild" tie plates him-
or herself?
