The largest/longest pair is in a factory sealed bag from Overland Models labeled: "Buckeye 6-wheel Tender Trucks with 36" Wheels". I assume this is for their GS-4 Daylight 4-8-4 import of many decades ago. Mint condition. Five other pair are slightly shorter and one has a simplified machined bolster without too much detail. Sideframes look great and who sees the bolster anyway? Lastly, is the set of sideframe castings by, I think, PSC. Could be wrong regarding the PSC, however. Might be SSLS. Here is a quote from the SSLS catalog of decades ago pertaining to their Buckeye trucks: "BUCKEYE 6 WHEEL TENDER TRUCKS Well detailed, sprung and equalized. Used 33" or 36" wheels. Very smooth operating. Also used on 125 ton flat and depressed center flat cars. 4 pairs used on 250 ton depressed center flat cars. Very nice truck, well detailed." Price from the SSLS Revised Price List of 1990 is $25.85 per pair less wheelsets. Regarding the price, I have no idea what they are worth in today's dollars. I have seen Buckeye trucks go for $40-$50 on eBay upon rare occasion. So make me an offer and, if I like it, I will accept it. One pair or all seven pair -- makes no difference to me. Highest acceptable price (plus postage) gets first choice. If'n I don't like yer offer, I will head on down to the depot and get on the next train rolling toward eBay. Fair enough? Specifics here: 1. Mint Overland truck as described above with friction bearings. 2. New sideframe castings only as described above with roller bearings. 3. Painted black with brass cast bolster and friction bearings. 4. Same as #3 above. 5. Painted black with machined brass bolster and roller bearings. 6.
