The leads can be replaced. Go to a DCC supplier, I use Litchfield Station at
http://litchfieldstation.com/lobby/index.htm
and order a digitrax (with others depending on lead length) part number DHWHP.
You need to cut away the Tsunami srink wrap at the plug end but the replacement
is simple.
