Jim:
I have painted a couple of models with yellow paint. I learned
years ago to paint the model first with a neutral gray. I use MofW
gray from Scalecoat to be my gray. Finally, my plastic "F" shells had
the same Rio Grande Gold look as my RR brass "F". The same was true
for all the UP stuff I painted.
