>Gary....I am curious about this item in your listing: "Atlas RS-3"
>Are we talking HO plastic or S brass here?
Ed, I no longer own the locomotive, but I thought it was made by Atlas; one of
the first ever brass locomotives. It may have even been an RS-1 or -2, but it
was modified and painted as an RS-3 for me back in the early 70's by one of the
premier painters. Hard to remember.....the hair, what remains, is solid white
and the big 70 is right around the corner! I sold it at the NASG
convention......I think??????
>On my mighty NYC (note: All NYCs are "mighty"!), I also have two P2-b
>electric locos which are made out of brass.
I only counted commercially avaiable.....didn't want to be accused of cheating!
I did forget/overlook the Baldwin Sharks (A&B)
>But the question posed by that SPF named "Lane" was how much does all this
>stuff weigh? Since our empires are very similar, you could just figure my
>tonnage is
Dont't know about the weight.....too much to lift at the same time anyhow.
>While you are weighing brass, I will be at Starbucks with my pretty wife
sipping a hot toddy.
Stay away from that stuff....it'll stunt your growth! :-)
Merry Christmas, Gary
