Greetings from the frozen tundra of Minnesota, I just dropped in to see what
condition my
condition was in... no wait, that is a song from my mis-spent youth. I just
dropped in to
wish everyone a Merry Christmas, like some of you, the UPS Santa dropped off a
package
with a new NW-2 with Tsunami sound, the NW-2 has always been a favorite
switcher
model but this one causes a small issue. The Tsunami sound just overpowers
every other
locomotive on the layout. Not in loudness but in quality and detail of the
sound. Progress
is wonderful, sure now I am faced with determining how I want to bring
everything else up
to current sound qualities but what a wonderful challenge.
I don't catch much of the daily goings on with the list unless Steve, Walt, Ted
or someone
in the PPSSW alert me of a neat post but I trust the burning issues of the day
are still
managed.
There was something about NASG conventions, in 2010, the NASG convention will
be in
Duluth, I plan on having a couple of operation sessions here on the Minnesota
Heartland
before the convention, my suggestion is to come in a couple of days early or
come right
over from the NMRA Convention in Milwaukee and enjoy some Minnesota
railroading.

Well enough, time to go enjoy the holiday. Friday is going to be a work
day.... working on
the railroad, perhaps here or at Jeff Seine's or Steve Doyle's layouts. So
much to do time to
CSMO.
