I recall about 1991 Jettie Padgett of South Wind Models proposed doing  
a train of short, scale-length Santa Fe Budd cars. I think it was the  
El Capitan from the late 1930s, which at that time was a five-car  
train. This was in connection with his plan to import Alco PA and PB  
models.

Jettie canceled his projects, alas, when American Models announced its  
own plans for Alco PA and PB locos.
