I was contacted by Jettie regarding his original El Capitan plans A
local 0 scale gentlemen had a set of the train that we used for his ad.
I arranged to borrow several lengths of flex track from my LHS. The
owner brought his train to my studio and after seeing my track said
we're going to have problems. His train was proto 48 rather than
traditional 0 scale--so we talk about our divisions but we're better off
than our larger friends.
So when it comes to a name change/or not at least the BOT had the
forsight to correct our track gauge. BTW, I didn't hear too many
griping about that change for the better. As a wise man certainly must
have said--if it walks like a duck, sounds like a duck and looks like a
duck, just maybe we ought to call it a duck!
Be out of service for a few days
