Well, I ordered a Blue Point Turnout Controller as advised by various
list members, and I'm happy to say I have installed it and irt works
great.
One change I made was to use a 5-ft. auto choke control cable in place
of the mounting kit Blue Point provides. This, because the turnout is
beyond the reach of the Blue Point kit.
Also, rather than the quarter-inch hole for a point control rod, I
used a home made bell crank made of .030" piano wire and a piece of
1/16" brass tubing.
This thing is so inexpensive, easy to install, easy to master,
reliable, and trouble free I'm surprised you DCC guys even give it a
second look! :<)
