Hi all --

Way back when the 4-6-2 locos were first released, I discovered that the
undecorated version came with 4 wheel tender trucks AND a set of the 6 wheel
truck frames. I ordered a set of the 6 wheel frames for myself "just in
case". While they never did go under what I thought they might, I did end
up using them under a fictional heavy duty gondola made from the leftovers
of a kitbashed mill gondola. I put a couple of photos is the SLE&P album
showing both cars... Credit goes to Dick Karnes for esthetic guidance.

Happy New Year!

Surprisingly, the AM 6 wheel tender trucks have the correct axel spacing for
CNR. Every RR that used them had their own requirements and therefore had
different axel spacing. For example, you cannot interchange the 6 wheel
Commonwealth trucks from CNR to CPR because the CPR had a slightly different
axel spacing.

cheers,
Andy Malette
