While there's no ultimate substitute for live handling of a product,
we can help out somewhat by taking pictures of an item both closeup
and in an S scale setting (a layout) and posting them somewhere. Even
now many times folks post pictures of a new item on this group. The
NASG could put them on its site and those of us with websites could
provide the service. A virtual word of mouth if you will. Just a thought.

be viewed before a purchase is made.  Why should that matter? except
that if you see it in person, it's probably available for purchase,
