All, I have been using the Railmaster Deep Bass speakers as of late. I was really unimpressed with any speakers direct from SoundTraxx, especially given their price. I installed the Railmaster square model on my A B A set of PAs. They were OK. I have yet to tweak the motor sounds.
I have been working on my 2 RS11 for the past week or so. With just the basic programming done on the Tsunami, it is not in the shell yet and using the rectangle ported speaker, the horn sounds REALLY good. I have yet to tweak the motor sounds on the RS11 as well. The good bass sounds are not overly evident yet, but I am already happy with what I am hearing. If you have the room, as I JUST do in the RS11, I would recommend them. I wonder if the rectangle speakers are going to fit in the boilers of my upcoming PRR steam locos without having to really whack the boiler weight.
