Buyer Beware Pat Turner & Turner Model Works . It's been almost 3
months since I paid for e-bay item, and I have not received yet the
item, or reimbursement.
After contacting Turner on numerous occasions, I'm basically told
that it's ready to ship - then nothing happens no item or
correspondence. This last occurred before Xmas 2008 when Turner
indicated my item would be sent out after Jan 1. I have registered
complaints with E-bay and Pay Pal, but wanted to inform the "S"
modeling community this matter. [Chama Oil Dock, FinestKind Models,
#FK1024 on e-bay (10/22/09) purchased from Pat Turner of Turner
Models, and paid via Pay Pal on Oct. 29, 2008.]
It's an unfortunate situation, but I feel compelled to warn others to
beware. I am now personally avoiding any purchases of Turner's
product lines (Finestkind, etc), and the new 1:64 Modeling Guide, due
Turner's editorial association.
