Bill,

While not an authority on Duluth, the central part of the US has developed 
along with the eastern areas and Indians are not the problem as you may think.  
And rest assured that when your plane takes off the airport in Minnesota is 
already finished and you won't have to circle the field while they hack out a 
runway.

But if you happen to have a few Beaver hides handy, go ahead and bring them, 
they might be of use should you need any beans, lard or flour.

  If I were to forget something are normal supplies like toiletries easy to
  get? I am assuming the Ice Road has melted by now. I cannot afford a bidding
  war on the last remaining can of defunkifying pit spray until the road
  freezes again and the supply convoy can make it all the way through....
