Andre, You're right... Meeting was hosted by CJSS member Jeff Wilson at his "S" Scale Hobby Shop in Dunnelen, NJ. If you aren't aware of his Store, I believe his website is Hoquathobbies.com, it is a treasure chest of predominately "S" items. If Jeff Wilson doesn't have it, he can always try ordering for you. Jeff has done limited runs of rolling stock, CNJ, PSE&G, etc... Jeff has been running his business out of his home for a couple of decades, but aquired the Storefront recently with retirement. Although new, it is a throw-back to the hobby shops of yesterday, and definitely worth a visit if your in the area. Unsure how much Jeff Wilson actually makes on the venture; but with all the talk of how we, either individually or collectively, can do to promote "S" scale, Jeff Wilson's doesn't talk very loud but his actions speak volumes; and his venture can use our support.
The usual suspects were in attendance. Don Thompson of S Helper service was present. We comiserated about developments in China. Members coming from Brooklyn NY included Vic Roseman & Hiram Graves. Structure model award winner Bill Moitz as well layout tour hoster Bob Greengrove, John Vastano and other CJSS members Steve Kahlista, Tyler Froatz Jr. and guests. Duluth Convention was discussed and with several members to attend. Food & refreshments were served, compliments of Jeff Wilson. Everyone left with some item(s) purchased from the Store. Unsure, if Jeff made a profit (food vs. sales). Dennis H.
