I made the trip home tonight so I could get ready for the last day of layout
tours. I enjoyed seeing everyone this weekend at the convention and hope all
who attended enjoyed themselves also. I sent many things home with new owners
but was still close to capacity in my car on the return trip. I just needed to
do some buying myself. I will post a few pictures in an open album allowing
others to do so also. Jan Jopke was Walt's secret weapon this weekend and some
of the things she accomplished included; fantastic weather, the opportunity to
see ore cars being pushed out onto the dock in Two Harbors, the arrival of the
largest lake boat in current service, two "meets" on the train ride. the list
goes on. Jan kept the S crowd in line with the assistance of her "enforcer",
about six pounds of pure puppy terror.
