I have heard that Custom Trax has made improvements to their product. Until I
see someone install this system and have it work through several seasons of
train running I will rely on my experience on a local layout and suggest that
this system be avoided. I have seen folks go all crazy because you can tie the
track in a knot or some such thing but the examples I have seen installed don't
curve well and the turnouts are not reliable. The owner of the layout who
tried these parts when first on the market has also suffered terrible customer
service. Tomalco or Shinohara flex track and fast track made turnouts are
operationally the best solution in my experience. 15 minutes of work on the
Shinohara turnouts makes a reliable and durable turnout.
What is a reasonable price for an IC WA Drake gondola, I know where one
