A day or two ago our rambling were discussing John Bortz and his wood
beam passenger trucks. I came across a pair last night while replacing
trucks on one of my convention purchases. This set consists of 4 brass
side frames, two metal bolsters and the nuts used to hold everything
together. I don't have any wheelsets, but the older Miller, Ace or
newer NWSL axles with blunt ends will work just fine. I would imagine
that using SHS's plastic bearing would make it possible to use needle
point axles.

I am trying trade for a pair of SSLS brass trucks that were sold as
tender trucks or express reefer trucks. I can't find my old blue SSLS
cataloge to determine what they were actually called but the best way to
determine mine is by the very wide brass bolster. These trucks were
sprung.
