I would assume that one had to do a lot of walking after eating beans to
keep from being gassed (unless one wore a gasmask) 8-) . (yes, I know
that there are different kinds of beans - but as my 3 year old
grandchild said "Vegetables are not good for me when I am 3, but they
will be good for me when I am 4." - so green beans are out.)
