Maybe I missed it, maybe not . But did anyone mention that Ed's New York
Central model railroad was one of features in the new September 2010
nmra.org magazine?

Yes, a very nice three page article titled "The Time Factor."

The title could be misleading, but what Ed really talks about is the time
factor (25 years and still going) in deciding to build a permanent model
railroad layout. Ed states that he has a very understanding wife, he lives
in a home in which he never plans to move and that he has all the other
needs to build and own a large layout. Mostly a lot of various model
railroad friends who have helped him achieve the NYC layout he now enjoys
and that we in S scale love reading about.

To quote Ed; "Yes, I work slowly, methodically, and with precision. I prefer
to build kits and modify most everything to one degree or another and that
all takes time." The images shown are of excellent value as well, but I
loved seeing the S Scale logo posted on the lead in image best of all of
all.

The article serves in conjunction with next year's NMRA/NASG convention in
Sacramento, California, July 3-9, 2010.

Nice work, Ed.
