A bit of clarification... the B.T.S. sound systems that we included with
the Coon Gap Sawmill and Cabin Creek Coal Tipple were not simply
prerecorded chips. They consisted of a computer processor that ran a
special program. The system was a full 24-hour day of sound that was
programmed for every minute of each hour on four channels with another
channel controlling lights. It was a lot of fun, and a lot of work,
writing the scripts for a full day of noise! It also included a fast
clock setting so the sound could be compressed into a shorter time
loop. The system was designed in 1990, and was not upgraded as
components changed, so by 2004 we could not produce any more due to
discontinued parts.

One of my business associates is working on a newer version that looks
promising. No idea when it will be ready for testing but the potential
for some great stuff is outstanding!

Take care
Bill
