Don Heimburger had a set of parts for the superstructure and cylinders for the
Baldwin light 2-8-0 that was apparently available as a set
some years ago, primarily from when Kemtron produced S scale castings. Don
said Sandusky then had it until the owner died, after which
he had no idea where it went.
I am unclear whether there was ever a commecial kit for the mechanism and
tender, although perhaps the manufacturer who has been
doing BTS modern Ma&Pa 2-8-0's could provide those.
I wonder whether anyone on the list has more information on these--goodness
knows I was tempted by what Don had. One of the two
reasons I finally went from HO to O scale thirty-five years ago was that PSC
produced the Baldwin light 2-8-0, an essential short line
locomotive (the other motivation was the CBR 44-tonner).
