I'm loyal as a hounddog. :-)  Thanks for the info on the Shinohara's. 

Actually, since this won't be a huge layout, I hope to handlay my turnouts 
(fastraks on the more common turnouts most likely) and possible even handlay 
the track. I really love trackwork as it can make or break a layout in 
appearance as well as operation. 

As a kid I could walk the rails for hours on end as you just never knew what 
could be coming down those rails.
