Re: SHS 2-8-0 parts - I think one of the more frustrating things
about our 2-8-0 project is that our builder never sent the extra parts
that were called for in the original proposal. We have had to scrap
new 2-8-0s to repair engines. Some things we can fix, but many we
just do not have the parts. As you can imagine it is a part by part
availability.
Re: DC shorting plug - All 2-8-0 should have these. We can
install these and send the DCC stuff to be installed at a later date.
Or, we might be able to program the Tsunami to operate on DC. To
date, we have not had anyone request this feature.
