They transport bird seed in many of the 284 covered hoppers they own. A very important product in the scope of the GNP, Gross National Product. I am sure many birds are very happy about this.
Just kidding, as they do list bird seed as one product they move, by freight rail. Thank goodness for freight rail. MD to go bike riding on the Western MD Rail Trail, I saw a modern cab tractor trailer hauling a trailer that old looking, green with white writing on the side, which I thought said, Kansas, Beaverville and Southern Railroad with white stripes under the writing. I never heard of this RR as I figured it had to be a short line. I did not find anything for the line when I googled the name, but another name came up with Kansas being Kankakee and the truck company SCT is located in GA.
