Hi All,
Thanks to all who tried to help. I should have mentioned that I have a Digitrax
DH123 decoder in the engine. Also, after reading the many comments, I compared
the motor with my other AM diesels and now believe that I have an older motor
in
the GP9. I'm not very knowledgeable about the various motors, but this one has
a
slit on each side and you can see a part of the brass coils (?). There is a fly
wheel attached. Does this suggest that I should get one of AM's new motors?
Again I'm open to suggestions. Thanks.
