Jim and All,
Read "Twilight of the Great Trains" by Fred Fraley through Kalmbach. I
am to understand there is a new edition out. Adds Illinois Central to the book
along with a few new photos. Otherwise the same book as the old version.
Still one of the best RR books I've ever read, and I've read hundreds! S scale
content. Many styles of Budd built passenger cars are now available through
Bob McCarthy's Supply Car.
