Alex: No, you didn't miss anything, I just never got it posted. The four files were in response to a request from Jay Mellon in August for more detailed information on the coupler mounting system I used on SHABBONA's streamlined passenger cars.
The idea behind them is that the couplers swing independently of the trucks, but provide more latitude for negotiating tighter model curves than regular body mounted couplers. They may be a little "overkill") for shorty passenger cars on anything over 36" radius (my minimum, but when I designed them, I didn't have a layout. They might be of some use in helping full length passenger cars get around tighter curves, though.
