Hi All,
I have a brass engine that creates a short when the truck frame slightly
touches
the gear box. This happens when the engine makes any kind of turn. I was told
by
a hobby shop person that clear nail polish applied to the areas that touch
would
solve the problem. Is this true or is it an old model train myth? Any other
suggestions? Obviously neither the gear box nor the trucks can be moved. I
don't
know if this matters, but the engine is a OMI SW1500.
