Guys, We are losing a treasure in our hobby.
Stan and I have spoken for the last three years about our hobby and health problems. We both agreed that all you can do is never quit and keep a positive attitude. While my health problems have been arrested, Stan was matter of fact about his own situation. He is a brave and compassionate person who has never once in our conversations felt sorry for himself. For anyone who feels sorry for themselves , just think of Stan who suffers from severe arthritis and brain cancer for the last few years. He just kept keeping on! Stan recently told me that he had worked to get his wife into the best situation he could while he was medically retired. He has always put others first in his thoughts, as should we all.
