Actually, if ACGilbert was half as smart as Dick Karnes, the AF product line would have included working catenary. Then with DC motors and universal motors and track pickup and catenary pickup it would be possible to indepentdently control the direction four different trains although they would all run at the same speed at the same time no matter what. Assuming I now understand all this correctly. And no decoders at all! Is string compatible with catenary? Just wondering...Ed L.
