Last years O SCALE NATIONAL convention was pretty much the same -- only without
the children. As I stood and gazed out into the cavernous convention hall,
someone challenged me to point out anyone under the age of 50. At that instant
in time, I found three people clearly under 50. No wonder the manufacturers
want a deposit up front -- we might be six feet under by the time the model
arrives from wherever. Cannot take those kinds of risky chances with serious
money. How'd I get into this hobby anyway? Cheers...Ed L.
