Hi Bob:

There's a telegraph sound chip in the station. It always sounds like an 800
pound gorilla is pounding out a message, and when I run trains past the station
I often find myself looking to see which car is bumping along the ties. At the
Lindsay show where this footage was taken, a telegraphers' hobby group was set
up beside us. They informed us the "urgent" message was nothing more than
gibberish.

We have two 3-track train turntables ready to use whenever needed. Much as we
enjoy the flexibility of FreeMo, at public train shows we want to keep the
trains moving back and forth as quickly as possible. We decided on turntables
rather than reverse loops because of the space saving. I guess not too many
layouts this side of the Atlantic employ such tricks, because the turntables
themselves attract a lot of attention.

Two questions...was there a sound chip in the station with a telegraph
sound? Was that some kind of whole train turntable and the end of the
line? Looks interesting for sure.
