While riding on the C&O Canal today, in 45 degree weather, brr, we saw the
usual train activity, lots of freight trains, the Sunday Amtrak from Chicago,
saw the Point of Rocks RR station through the trees, as you normally can not
see the RR station due to leaves, but we saw a caboose on one freight train, as
the caboose was painted blue, looked like a 806 caboose, sorry for all the O
gaugers, I do not know the name of this type of caboose, a simple looking
caboose with a cupola in the middle.
The train itself had allot of different cars, on it, that you do not see
normally. Some where depressed flat cars, like the AF 936.
The caboose had painted on it, Specialized Rail Transport, so I think many of
the cars I saw had something to do with this company.
