Sure reminds me of the Midwest, Steve. Wow, beautifully done! I’ll bet the NMRA guys were suitably impressed. The pumpkin field is great. Roger Nulton

Anyway, in the time since the NASG layout tours here in July, over the past month and a half I've been working on the farmland-half of my middle peninsula. Dave Jasper actually painted the backdrop about a year ago based on my memories of Illinois in the 1950s - red barns, fields of corn shocks, etc. I started on the farmland in advance of the NMRA's Thousand Lakes Region, Twin Cities Division, layout tour a couple of weeks ago so the visitors - mainly HO guys - could see what could be accomplished in S-Scale. Many of them were amazed so much was available in our scale. The cityscape, with its lighted buildings and more than 20 Miller Engineering signs - seemed to attract attention. I've posted progress in the Photo Albums under "Doyle." Model-on! Steve [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
