Hi All,
I spent the Saturday flying over (and back) to the Warley MR Exhibitionat
Birmingham, England. There were 10 USA prototype layouts among the 70 odd
British and European ones + same again trade stands. In the middle, the NMRA
had
a stand with several displays, One of these was by Nigel Bowyers who had an
S-scale "Tuning Fork" display with lots of samples of rtr stock. The track is
Tomalco including a #8 turnout. The Locos are all SHS with sound. The 50' SP
Box
Car is an "Amity" kit built by my friend and neighbour, Raymond Hall which I
had
brought over with several AM rtr cars. I certainly had the best of fun and
enjoyment talking to visitors about S-scale. I had only a few hours before
being
dragged off to the plane for return but Nigel continued the good work through
Sunday. Only sad bit that there was no Santa Fe in sight (except HO, N and Z).
I
have sent some photos to the album system (hope it has worked!)
Best wishesDes Browne, Holywood, Northern Ireland
