The "tuning fork" track plan is one of the variety of small layout designs featured on the web in places like Carl Arendt's Micro Layouts page. Those looking to do some promoting or showing of S at local shows, without having a large group to set up a dozen 2 X 4 modules, could do worse than to build a tiny layout featuring some action (see also "Inglenook Sidings") and bring it around.
