Yes! The late Brian Cross did one, with working Stephensons outside valve gear 
too... it could go as slow as 1 foot per hour. Brian was a pioneer of S scale 
kits in NZ, introducing the rubber mould, and 'bog' casting method these parts. 
He was, by trade, a cameraman with the Government. He was fortunate enough to 
get assignments on steam documentaries, classics that influenced my career 
choice in rail.
