Many people on the list use "signatures" consisting of one or more lines of text and sometimes links after their (required!) name. I don not poice those unless something is really over-the-top, and to be honest seldom pay them any attention at all once I get used to what any particular individual uses. If you find something particularly offensive, email me and/or Bill as "List Owner" and we will respond. Unlike the content of the message, the list rules don't require your signature lines to be "On topic" since many people use a single E-mail account for general purposes as well as the list.
