In a bit less haste (and better orthography), I would guess after the elapse of 
time, you no longer kept the original boxes 
for the cars (thinking mostly of the SHS and AM ones)?  Until I am finally 
retired and relocated as permanently as is likely
to happen, it is still a preference to be able to store (and move) model 
railroad items as safely as possible.
