Not sure if any of you know about this, but in Kensington, MD they have the 
first Quiet Zone ever for RR crossings
in the state of MD.

I am not sure if there are zones like this elsewhere in the US or anywhere else.

I think this is sad, as the RR tracks have been here since the 1800s, as the 
people who moved here, knew about the trains coming by every day.

I wonder what will happen when there is a accident between a motor vehicle and 
train which I hope does not happen, but it will someday, in my opinion due to 
the nature of people running crossings.
