Being one of those MIT types let me assure you that smart and common 
sense are not related in any way and if they are it is a negative 
correlation.

Wasn't one of those brain trust students recently killed for either 
walking or sleeping on the T tracks? I was taught that if a train is 
chasing you, step 2 feet to the side and it won't swerve to hit you but 
don't try to run faster than it.
