I wonder if the autumatic payment , or renewal can also be set up for buying a business.????
I have been in the model railroad hobby for over 70 years and have experienced some "beauts" (Like Dave Netherton and Omnicon) I got trapped by the Microsoft Network for 14 months of service after I changed service. I had to change credit card numbers.. I have been stuck by both major virus programs as well. I guess it is done to show how honest and benevolent " so called Businessmen " are. Sanctity must be preserved at all costs. Regardless of who gets stuck. When I set up the subscription options on PayPal for the 1:64 Modeling Guide, I made the renewals automatic. I have made mention of this on my Website as well as in past posts on this and other groups. This was strictly a cost containment move on my part, since I wouldn't have to incur the expense of printing and mailing a renewal notice (and probably more than one). The subscriber always has the option to cancel. The magazine is operating on a vert tight margin with minimal advertising revenue and, in fact, loses money on the standard mail rate of $27.95/yr, which is most of the subscriptions. In addition, I "eat" all PayPal fees. If there is widespread opposition to the on-line subscription setup, please let me know (off list--or on the 1:64 Modeling Guide Pop Valve Yahoo Group) and I'll revisit the policy. Thank you.
