Both of the most popular versions, Phase Ia (no front grill) and IVb (with front grill) will be produced using the same 3D CAD, rapid prototyping and urethane casting process as all previous kits. Athearn's tried and true Ready To Roll mechanism will used for the gearboxes and, possibly, the motor if I can fit it in. Design will start late this month with a target release date of March 2011.
