Beautiful locomotive. I've always admired the DL-109. They appeared on loan to the Bangor and Aroostook during the busy season.

Couplers are installed in BTS brass coupler pockets designed for EMD diesels. No changes were made to the American Hirail superstructure. Windshield wipers were included with the Omnicon chassis. The American Hirail underbody tanks were altered to allow the Omnicon gearbox to fit. Decals were a project of the Connecticut S Gaugers, spearheaded by Steve Kutash.
