I wondered if that was what you were talking about; you kind of hosed it up so I couldn't tell...
The tubing is actually Teflon, 14G light wall. It is available from Small Parts Inc in 10' coils, part #STT-14-10. BTW Bob, it doesn't matter how many rivets you use or how 'old school' your thinking is, physics always wins. A tank has amazing strength with respect to pressure and almost none with respect to vacuum. We carbonated beer in 50,000 gallon stainless horizontal tanks at 32 PSI, but the vacuum breaks used during CIP were set at negative 3 PSI. You busted your butt not to break one since it let in outside air and the tank had to be re-cleaned. If it froze you were toast! I've seen 1" steel walled tanks, 22 feet in diameter reduced to sides almost touching after being sucked in owing to a frozen vacuum break - as I recall the entire work force swore "it didn't happen on my shift"... I suppose in that respect brewers are like railroaders... <G> Jim Kindraka --- In [email protected], "shabbona_rr" <user141...@...> wrote: > > I got a short sample from Jim Kindraka after talking to him in Duluth. > Somewhere I have the name of the firm that offers it.
