Jace, don't worry if it's been assembled with the typical white either. Our master builder, Jack Troxell has purchased several wooden but completed kits that had some shortcomings. He puts them in a tube of water overnight. In the morning you have a kit again. I was surprised as even the smallest piece of wood was intact. After removing some residue and drying, he just rebuilt it to his standards.
