Only one problem, Bill - that scale test car should be ahead of the caboose.
Since those cars had no air brakes, even though they had a brake pipe running
from one end to the other, there would be nothing to stop them if they broke
loose from the end of the train and began to roll backwards down a grade.
Thus, the caboose to provide brakes if that happened.
