The S Gaugian sent me a two part kit to build and review well over a
year ago. Although designed primarily for the narrow folks, it's size
lent itself to standard gauge. After building most of the first
segment, I turned my attention to the much larger second structure.
After some time in puzzlement, I figured out that the instruction sheets
vs plans used different numbering systems because nothing made sense.
There was no easy way of correlating the two sets of instructions into
useful information that could be used to actually start construction. I
contacted the manufacturer who had already been told he had a problem.
I refused to build the kit without proper instructions--a mistake or two
is probably routine for small runs, but this was a total disaster. With
this kit it's just a bunch of sticks without instructions...which I'm
still waiting for.
