I bought an old diecast bus that's a bit too large. I'll guess close to 1/55,
that I'd love to downsize. Working with plaster might work, but I'd rather try
something else. I've had limited success with using hot glue sticks for smaller
objects, like shrinking 3/16ths O scale figures, but it has a tendency to warp
with larger stuff. If anyone out there has any ideas at all, or has
successfully downsized something bigger than 2 inches, please reply. I've found
very few 1/64 busses over the years, and you kinda need them at the larger
passenger terminals. I'm sure all of us have seen larger scale items we'd love
to have in S scale, we just need a bit of help to get there.
